Zach Baum was born and raised in Anoka MN. He is the middle child of 2 step-brothers and a sister. Zach is also a liver transplant recipient. In 1999, at the age of 7 he was placed on the donor list and after 2 years he was fortunate enough to receive the greatest gift of all, a second chance at life with a new liver.

After graduating from Anoka High School in 2010, Zach went off to community college to major in business. After a short stint in college, Zach decided to pursue a career in the automotive industry. After about ten years working in several different roles, Zach decided to chase a lifelong goal of helping people achieve the American dream of owning a home.

Zach started in real estate 2016 mostly selling in the Twin Cities suburbs. Zach and his wife Amber (formerly Amber Taylor a native of Hutchinson) met in their early college years and married in 2019. They moved to Hutchinson in 2022 along with their son Harvey, that is when Zach joined Hometown Realty.
